Document Controller
Company Overview: Link Consultants is partnering with a distinguished M&E Contractor with an impressive project portfolio and a revenue of approximately £20 million. We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Document Controller to join their team and contribute to significant commercial projects.
Role Snapshot: As a Document Controller, you will play a crucial role in managing and distributing project information, maintaining records, and supporting the project site team. You will also help implement new systems to streamline document control processes.
Experience with Procore is essential.
Monday - Friday
Salary: £30-£32k with uplift after successful probation.
Key Responsibilities:

Information Management:
* Distribute incoming information from ViewPoint to the project site team and ensure it's correctly saved on the project server.
* Implement new systems to improve document control and management.
* Maintain, monitor, and control company and project records using an established filing system.

Drawing Management:
* Oversee the control of project drawings, ensuring they follow the correct protocols and maintaining an up-to-date drawings register.
* Coordinate with outsourced CAD & BIM services teams.
* Perform QA checks on drawings and distribute them to the site team and supply chain.

Document Upload and Register Maintenance:
* Upload all site documentation to ViewPoint, updating registers and maintaining site files.
* Compile and issue Health & Safety files in compliance with HSE regulations.

Administrative Support:
* Create and maintain hard copy file structures for site inductions and manage induction registers.
* Update and monitor H&S card accreditations and liaise with supply chain supervisors for necessary documentation.
* Populate meeting minutes for site team and supply chain as needed.
* Handle general administrative tasks, including preparation of progress and labour reports, scheduling meetings, and issuing schedules.

Site Management:
* Manage office and site facilities, including archiving completed projects and purchasing stationery.
* Organize site team expense claims, travel bookings, and IT issues.
* Regularly update the Site Directory and maintain the Site team holiday planner.
* Request and organize the printing of drawings and contracts with external printing services.
* Handle courier requests and collate monthly site hours for the site team
