SEN Teaching Assistant

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to support educators in creating a positive learning environment for children. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children, particularly those with special educational needs, including autism.

Duties

Assist the teacher in planning and implementing educational activities tailored to meet the diverse needs of students.
Support children in their daily tasks, ensuring they understand instructions and can participate fully in classroom activities.
Foster a safe and nurturing environment for all students, particularly those requiring special education support.
Communicate effectively with students to encourage engagement and understanding of lesson materials.
Work closely with children on the autism spectrum, employing strategies that promote their learning and social interaction.Requirements

Familiarity with special education practices and strategies for supporting children with autism is highly desirable.
