Business Development Manager

Location: Glasgow | Full-Time, Permanent | £50,000-£60,000

Are you a commercially driven Business Development Manager with experience in professional services? This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading firm and play a key role in driving growth across advisory services and key industry sectors.

The Role

You'll work closely with senior leaders to identify opportunities, strengthen client relationships, and implement strategic business development initiatives. From market research to targeted campaigns, bid support, and sector profiling, you'll help shape and execute plans that drive revenue and growth.

Key Responsibilities

Identify and develop growth opportunities within advisory services and key sectors
Build relationships with clients, industry bodies, and referral networks
Collaborate on marketing campaigns, thought leadership, and profile-raising activities
Support bid development, pitches, and cross-sector initiatives
Provide market insights and performance reports to inform strategic decisions
Mentor junior team members and contribute to business development projects

What We're Looking For

Experience in business development within professional services (legal sector experience is a plus)
Strong commercial awareness and ability to translate trends into opportunities
Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver results in a fast-paced environment
Strong writing skills with experience in marketing and client communications
