Are you an experienced Headteacher looking for a new challenge in a small SEMH specialist setting?

We are working with a newly opened independent day school, part of a highly reputable and growing organisation, seeking an experienced Headteacher with the skills to lead a specialist provision for students with Autism Spectrum Condition and SEMH needs.

This unique opportunity involves leading a small provision (fewer than 20 students), to ensure high quality education and care. We are looking for someone with proven experience who can step into the role with confidence and immediately provide strong and effective leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and inspire staff to deliver exceptional outcomes for our students, ensuring a person-centred, inclusive environment that fosters growth and development.
As an experienced Head Teacher, you will be expected to quickly establish direction and oversee all aspects of school life with efficiency and expertise.
Drive continuous improvement in teaching, learning, and school operations, aiming for an outstanding rating.
Ensure compliance with all Independent School Standards and regulatory requirements, keeping the school on track for success.
Manage, support, and motivate a dedicated team, fostering collaboration and excellence in the classroom.
Oversee the design and implementation of a curriculum tailored to meet the needs of students with ASC and SLCN, ensuring it is engaging and accessible.
Monitor and enhance student progress, ensuring personalised interventions and support where needed.
Maintain the highest safeguarding standards, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all students.Key Requirements:

Proven experience as a Head Teacher in a SEND or specialist provision is essential.
Strong understanding of working with students with Autism and Communication Needs,
Deep understanding of the School Improvement process and how to implement effective curriculum models.
