The Basics:

Role: Quality Inspector

Location: Alfreton

Salary: £16.16 per hour, £17.77 per hour, £18.20 per hour + OT = earnings of £39k

Hours: Monday to Thursday - 7:30am-4:30pm and Fridays 7:30am-2pm

Contracted hours: 39 per week

Holidays and Benefits: 33 days holiday, Xmas shut down, 7.5% pension, x4 salary death in service.

Overview:

We now require a Quality Inspector to join the inspection department. You will be tasked to operate a CMM machine along with dimensionally inspecting machined and fabricated components with hand help measuring tools associated within a precision engineering environment.

Working in a modern purpose built manufacturing facility for a high end precision engineering business.

The ideal candidate / Quality inspector may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:

Time Served Apprenticeship - beneficial
Competent at reading engineering drawings
Previous experience with CMM machinery
Competent dimensionally checking precision engineered parts against a drawing.Commutable from: Alfreton, Ripley, Mansfield, Nottingham, Ilkeston and surrounding areas
