As a key member of our kitchen brigade, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of pastry production and presentation. Your creativity and expertise will contribute to our reputation for culinary excellence and innovation.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Head Pastry Chef in the preparation and production of high-quality pastry items
• Supervise and mentor junior pastry team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment
• Ensure all pastry items are prepared to the highest standards of quality and consistency
• Maintain meticulous attention to detail in the presentation and decoration of pastries
• Manage your section efficiently, ensuring timely and precise execution of orders
• Uphold health and safety standards in the kitchen, including proper food storage and hygiene practices
• Collaborate with the broader kitchen team to develop new pastry recipes and menu items

What you Need:

• Proven experience in a similar role within a high-paced, high-volume kitchen
• A genuine passion for food, with a particular emphasis on pastry arts
• Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to excellence
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Experience supervising a small team and managing your section with confidence
