Position: Lead Finite Element Analysis (FEA) Engineer

About the company

I am currently recruiting on behalf of a client who specialize in providing AI-driven software solutions tailored for the recruitment industry. They are looking for Lead Finite Element Analysis (FEA) Engineer to join their team on a rolling contract basis.

Educational Qualifications:

• A Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or a related field.
• Applicants without a degree will also be considered if they have sufficient relevant experience in Finite Element Analysis or related fields.

Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in Finite Element Analysis, with a focus on structural analysis, thermal or fluid analysis is a plus.

Technical Skills:

• Strong understanding of FEA principles and methods.
• Solid knowledge of material science, mechanics of materials, and structural dynamics.
• Experience in meshing techniques, model validation, and interpretation of FEA results.

Software Proficiency:

• Proficient in FEA software such as ANSYS, Abaqus or similar platforms.
• Familiarity with post-processing software for results visualisation.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g. CATIA, NX) is a plus.
