Monday to Thursday 7am until 4 pm & Friday 7am until 12 noon

Our long standing Engineering client based in Daventry, Northamptonshire are looking to recruit a temp to perm 'CNC Machine Operator / Setter'.
The role:
To manufacture automotive components whilst adhering to all Health & Safety legislation, company policies and procedures.
CNC Machine Operator / Setter responsibilities:
- To set and operate CNC machines
- Own the configuration of all supporting process elements including tooling, gauges, test equipment, work holding and CNC programmes
- Enhance efficiency by suggesting improvements to speed and feed
- Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency
- Inspect finished products for accuracy and adherence to specifications
- Carry out in-cycle inspection of the parts produced, using micrometres, verniers and coordinate measuring machine reports
CNC Machine Operator / Setter requirements:
- CNC Milling / Turning experience
- Highly capable in machine tool and cutting tool specification and application
- Understanding of and ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Knowledge of precision engineering processes including general machining (Milling and Turning)
- Prior experience using measuring equipment
- Proficient using FANUC and Heidenhain controls
