Dispatch Production Assistant

Job description
Salary: £23,729 per annum

Contract: Permanent

Hours: 35 hours a week (Mon-Fri)

Location: Gateshead

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Print and Despatch team at Gateshead - working a 35-hour week Monday to Friday.

Main responsibilities will include:

- Operate specialist production machinery for production of braille, audio and large print formats

- Collating Large Print and Standard Print documents for despatch.

- Working to Service Level Agreements

- Working with speed and accuracy whilst maintaining agreed quality standards.

- Feeding back any non-conformances with machinery and work output to Team Leaders/Leads.

What you'll need to succeed:

- Knowledge of the Microsoft package

- Experience in Pack and Dispatch

- Experience of working to Service Level Agreements

- Experience of helping to implement process improvements

- Ability to work within a dynamic work area

- Ability to organise time effectively, prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.

All relevant in-house training will be provided if you do not have all the preferred experience above.
