What you will do:

  • As an apprentice Planner, you'll be trained to optimize labour resources by planning and tracking installations, supporting the installation team.
  • Your responsibilities include engaging with various parts of the organization and interacting with both internal and external customers.
  • We offer a full-time, permanent advanced Level 3 Business Administrator apprenticeship for those interested in joining our planning team.
  • You'll manage the schedules of our engineers to meet customer requests and expectations, considering both available resources and customer needs.
  • This apprenticeship will provide a foundation of multiple IT packages and systems relevant to the organization.
  • You'll also be involved in equipment purchasing to effectively meet customer requirements.
  • By the end of this apprenticeship, you'll be able to coordinate the end-to-end delivery of projects, ensuring all milestones and deadlines are met.
  • The apprenticeship lasts approximately 2 years. During this period, you'll attend remote training courses during work hours and receive ongoing support from our existing planning team and our dedicated apprentice training team.

Training and Qualifications:

  • You will be enrolled on a level 3 Level 3 Business Administrator qualification delivered by our training partners MBKB.
  • You will attend college remotely and also receive on-the-job guidance from experienced mentors and planners

Career Progression:

  • Upon completion, a number of internal opportunities within the company will be available to you. All of our apprentices immediately move into full time permanent positions.

Qualifications Required:

  • GCSE or equivalent in English (Grade 5)
  • GCSE or equivalent in Maths (Grade 5)
  • Full Driving Licence is desirable.

  • Excellent work ethic and willingness to improve.

What happens next?

  • Suitable candidates will have a screening call with a recruiter to discuss the position and provide necessary documentation. Afterward, you will be invited to an assessment centre in May, assessment centres typically include a combination of activities such as group problem-solving tasks, individual interviews, and presentations.
  • Within 48 hours of the assessment centre, candidates will receive a response regarding the outcome of their application. If successful, they can begin the apprenticeship on September 2, 2024.
