ENVIRONMENT:

A luxurious 5-star boutique hotel in Johannesburg/Sandton, where hospitality knows no bounds, is on the lookout for a dynamic Hotel Operations Manager. If you're a strong, organized leader with a knack for shaking things up in a positive way, this is your spot! You'll need to balance a no-nonsense approach to discipline with a warm, hands-on style that fosters connection, mentoring, and training. The goal? Setting and achieving top-notch standards. You'll have a sharp eye for detail, backed by solid experience in senior hospitality roles at 5-star service level. If you're the type who ensures the hotel and villa are always spotless, knows exactly what maintenance is needed, and has a flair for pampering and surprising guests, they want you!

REQUIREMENTS:

• Multi-year experience in leading senior positions (in 5-star hospitality, either in the city or in the bush).
• Hotel management diploma; and experience with hotel financials, HR and food & beverage department and ideally also with the local business market.
• Living in Joburg - live out position - no 9 to 5 mentality.
• Must have a driving license and own vehicle.
• Representable appearance.
• Fluent in English, verbal and written, with the necessary basic knowledge of IT systems, Microsoft Office and hotel reservations systems.
• Experience with OTA's, and experience with PAN Hospitality
