We are seeking an inspiring and committed Religious Education Teacher to join a Catholic secondary school renowned for its strong community values and academic excellence. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering a high-quality RE curriculum that reflects the Catholic ethos of the school.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging RE lessons that align with the school's Catholic mission and values.
- Inspire students with the importance of religious education, fostering respect, empathy, and understanding.
- Teach across Key Stages 3 and 4, preparing students for assessments and examinations.
- Contribute to the school's spiritual life, including participating in assemblies, masses, and other faith-based activities.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the RE curriculum and maintain high standards of teaching and learning.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching Religious Education at KS3 and KS4.
- A strong understanding of Catholic teachings and values.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Commitment to promoting the spiritual and moral development of students.
